3 eggs, separated
Shake together:
⅓ c unsifted flour
⅔ c sugar
2 c milk

2 T butter
1 t vanilla
¼ t cream of tartar
6 level T sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Stir egg yolks with dry ingredients and a little milk. Add milk slowly. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, and immediately add butter and vanilla. Make meringue by beating egg whites stiff with cream of tartar. When stiff, add sugar. Put pie filling, topped with meringue into prebaked pie shell and brown in 350˚F oven for 12-15 minutes.

Can use for Banana Pudding.

Add Coconut for Coconut Cream Pie

Butterscotch Pie: Substitute 1 c brown sugar for ⅔ c white sugar.
