- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast
- 3 to 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion
- 1 package baby bella mushrooms
- 1 cup marsala wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- mozzarella cheese
- parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper

- Preheat oven to 375º
- Cut chicken into halves or thirds, pound on both sides to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Coat chicken lightly on both sides with flour
- In 12-inch skillet, melt 1 tablespoon butter over medium heat.
- Add half chicken, cook for about 3 minutes on each side. Transfer to rectangular baking dish.
- Repeat with another tablespoon of butter and remaining chicken.
- In the same skillet melt the remaining butter. Add onions and mushrooms.
- Cook and stir until tender.
- Add marsala, chicken broth, salt and pepper to taste.
- Bring to boil, the reduce heat. Simmer gently uncovered until mixture is about half the original amount.
- Pour over chicken in the baking pan.
- Sprinkle as much cheese (parmesan, mozzarella, and/or any other cheese) as desired over the top.
- Bake about 15 minutes
- Serve over spaghetti or angel hair pasta.
