½ c. boiling water
3 c. flour
½ tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over Lard (or butter), and beat until creamy. Sift in the flour mixture. You can chill it for later use, or use it immediately.

This crust is quickly-made and never fails to be flaky and tender (or so the author says)
