Ingredients: 1/4 c. shortening 1/4 c. salad oil 1/2 c. flour

Directions: |
Directions:Beat together and store in small air tight container. I never have a cake stick when using this. Use a pastry brush to apply generously to coat pans for cakes, brownies, breads, etc. No need to flour pan if used. But, be sure to remove items from pan as soon as they are cooled a bit..they may stick if left too long. Store in cupboard (fridge- for long term storage more than a month or two). I stick my brush in a small sandwich bag and keep it in a crisper drawer with my container of coating. |

Notes: A dear friend shared this wonderful recipe with me! I love it ! Especially when baking wedding cakes and I need to have them release cleanly from the pan.
