1 1/2 c. oats, quick-cooking or old-fashioned
1 1/4 c. milk (skim, 1%, 2%, soy or almond)
2 Tbsp. honey
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

3 c. any variety of fruit (sliced bananas, sliced kiwi, sliced strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, chopped apple, raisins, dried cranberries, dried cherries, dried apricots, frozen mixed fruit-thawed)

1/4 c. chopped walnuts, pecans or almonds

Night before:
In a large bowl, stir together everything except fruit and nuts and allow to soak in refrigerator, covered, overnight.

In the Morning:
Add fruit and nuts and gently mix together.

*I prefer to use old-fashioned oats and add fruit/nuts to individual bowls when serving.
