1/2 c. butter, softened
1-1/4 c. white sugar, divided
1 egg
1-1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 - 8 oz. package cream cheese (room temp)
2 tsps. vanilla extract
fresh fruit (suggested: strawberries, blueberries, pineapple)

Preheat oven to 350º.

Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt in bowl.

In separate bowl, cream butter and 3/4 c. sugar until smooth using an electric stand or hand mixer. The mix in the egg. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, and mix until just blended. Press dough into an ungreased pizza pan. Bake in preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Coo.

In large bowl, beat cream cheese with 1/2 c. sugar and vanilla until light. Spread on cooled crust. Arrange desired fruit on top of filling and chill.
