Italian plums
1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 large egg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
1 drop milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Grease 10" spring form pam with Crisco. Wash and dry plums; cut in half lengthwise.

Cream butter; gradually add sugar. Add egg, then flour and baking powder; mix. Add vanilla, salt, and drop of milk. Place dough In greased spring form pan. Place plums, skin side down, in a nice circular patter. Bake 60 minutes. After cake is done, sprinkle sugar over plums and let cool. Serve with homemade whipped cream and sugar.
