1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fine dry bread crumbs
1/4 milk
1 garlic clove minced or 1/4 tsp powder
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 lb lean ground beef or chicken

1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced carrots
1/2 cup celery
6 cups chicken stock
1/4 finely chopped fresh parsley or 1 tbsp flakes
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 cup acini del pepe pasta
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

combine first 7 ingredients in medium bowl

add chicken. mix well. roll into 1/2 inch (12 mm)balls. arrange on greased baking sheet with sides. bake in 350*F oven for 10 minutes.transfer to paper towels to drain. makes about 95 meatballs. set aside.

Heat olive oil in large saucepan on medium. add next three ingredients. cook for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring often, until onion is softened.

add next 4 ingredients. bring to a boil.

add pasta and meatballs. stir, cook, partially covered, for 10 minutes stirring occasionally, unit pasta is tender but firm.
