-1 can of tomato soup... high quality or whatever you have
-about 20 sliced pepperoni
-1/2 tsp of oregano
-5 dashes of Tabasco
-salt and pepper to taste
-2 to 3 tbsp of Parmesan cheese
-a few chunks of extra sharp cheddar
-French bread loaf
-Cold beer

-It's really simple. Start to heat the canned soup and use milk not water if it's condensed soup. Heat, but do not bring to a boil.
-add the pepperoni and let it cook another 5 minutes
-add the oregano and stir in along with the cheese.
-once the oregano starts to turn color, a bit dark... then it's ready
-add the tobasco, salt and pepper at the very end... then serve

Enjoy with the French bread to sop it up and the cold beer to wash it down!

I was planting trees for a few weeks in the Rocky Mountains just past the continental divide out of Denver in the early 80s (maybe 1985) and we ran out of most of our food. We had one can of tomato soup and ran into another camper who had some pepperoni and cheese. We mixed it all together and with some stale bread and a few beers it was one of the most tasty and satisfying meals ever!
