Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2-4 C. Blackberries
2 C. flour
1 C. sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 stick butter
1 C. milk

Topping:
1 C. sugar
1 C. hot water
1 tbsp corn starch

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven 375º. Put blackberries in bottom of 9 x 13 pan. In bowl combine flour, 1 cup sugar, salt and baking powder. Cut in butter until it resembles small crumbs. Add milk - dough will be sticky. Drop by spoonfuls over the berries. I usually take a knife and spread the dough over berries to even it out and they are pretty well covered. Take the other cup of sugar and mix it with the 1 tbsp of cornstarch pour evenly over the top. Now take 1 cup hot water and pour over cobbler. It won't look right but trust me it is. Bake for 45-55 minutes until golden brown. If it's still light bake a little longer because middle will not be done.
