Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
2 tsp chopped fresh basil or 1/2 tsp dried basil
1 tsp minced garlic
1/4 tsp dried oregano
8 Italian or crusty hoagie rolls, sliced lengthwise with one long edge attached
16-24 slices ham (depending on size)
24 slices salami
8-16 slices mozzarella

In a small bowl, combine the butter, garlic and spices. Blend well. (Speedy tip...I use garlic bread mix from Costco instead of the garlic and spices!) Butter both sides of each roll.

Layer ham (2 large or 3 small slices), t3 slices salami and cheese (1-2 slices based on cheesy preference) on each roll. Wrap each tightly with aluminum foil.

Place all wrapped rolls in freezer bag(s). Store in freezer. When ready to use, thaw and bake in 325F oven for 15-25 minutes, or until the bread is crusty and cheese is melted. You can also cook in a Panini press.

Personal Notes:
This is great to have on hand for one of those nights where you don't want to cook or need to run out the door to run kids around. I recently made these over Thanksgiving break and C.J. loved them (hint to his mom!). Great with salad or, my kids' preference, chips.
