1 cup sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1 cup dry roasted nuts
1 tsp butter or margarine
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
In a 1-1/2 quart microwave-safe bowl mix together sugar and corn syrup.
Cook on high for 4 minutes.
Stir in nuts.
Cook on high another 4 minutes or until light brown.
Add butter/margarine and vanilla.
Cook on high 1 1/2 minutes.
Add baking soda; stir until foamy.
Pour onto heavy foil (I grease mine) and cool until hard. Break into pieces.

This was one of Jeff's mom's recipes. She used the microwave a lot and this is one that Jeff remembers doing as a child. A fun, quick treat!
