Salad:
Leaf (red tip/green leaf) Lettuce
Scallions
Bacon (6 pieces, fried, crumbled)
Almonds, toasted (3 Tbsp. or more)
1 can mandarin oranges (or fresh orange sections)

Dressing:
1/4 cup olive oil
2 Tbsp / (1/8 cup) rice vinegar (seasoned or plain)
2 Tbsp. sugar or honey
Dash Tabasco Sauce (or several)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Prepare Dressing: Mix ingredients in a blender or jar.

2. Toss salad dressing with rest of ingredients and serve.

The salad dressing makes a good, basic salad dressing and keeps unrefrigerated for days. Can be used for all types of salads, including coleslaw. Roselyn uses extra-virgin olive oil instead of Canola oil and fresh orange sections instead of canned mandarin oranges. Roselyn also omits the bacon and scallions.
