1 c. Raisins
1 c. White Sugar
1 c. Milk
1/2 c. English Walnuts
2 T. Flour
1 tsp. Vanilla
3 Egg Yolks
1 T. Butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, flour & slightly beaten egg yolks, add to milk. Cook, when thickened, take from fire. Add raisins, broken walnuts, vanilla & butter. Pour into baked pie crust. Make meringue - beat egg whites. Add 2 T sugar 1/4 tsp. salt.
Bake 300º 15 minutes.

Mom Keener made this pie when Paul was growing up on the farm. This was one of his favorite pies. I continued to spoil him with these pies for the next 65 years!
