Large Chicken or Roaster
1 Tbls. salt
2 teas. sugar
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 Tbls. basil
1/2 Tbls. lemon juice
1 Tbls. olive oil
Directions:
Directions:
Wash chicken and pat dry. Combine dry ingred. Add lemon juice and olive oil to form a paste. Rub over surface of the hen.
Cook in crock-pot on low for 6-8 hrs. OR
Bake in 350 oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.

Leftovers are great for recipes requiring cooked chicken or chicken salad.
