1 c. Milk
1 tsp. Salt
1/2 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Butter or Margarine
1/4 c. Warm Water
1 pkg. Yeast
1 Egg
4 to 4 1/2 c. Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk & stir in salt, sugar & margarine. Cool to lukewarm. Sprinkle yeast onto water measured into large bowl. Blend. Stir in milk mixture, egg & 1/2 of flour. Beat until smooth. Add remaining flour to make stiff batter. Cover loosely with foil. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Dough may be kept in refrigerator up to 3 days.
