4c. Vinegar
1c. Water
2c. Sugar
pinch of Salt
1T Celery seed
1 Cinnamon Stick
2T. Allspice
1T. Mustard seed

Directions:
Directions:
(To make 6 pints, used 6c. vinegar, 2 to 3 c. of sugar, and add 2c. water or so to taste)
Tie spices in a cloth. Heat vinegar ahead & spices. Put beets in and reheat. I put all in cold pitcher for 2 min. after boiling. Then jar.
