1/2 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle nuts into a 9 inch dish.
In a heavy 1 1/2 quart sauce-pan, melt butter and add sugar.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly to 290º on a candy thermometer.
Pour toffee over nuts.
Sprinkle with chocolate pieces on toffee, allowing chocolate to melt, and then spread with a spatula.
Cool and refrigerate to set the chocolate.
Break into pieces. Wrap and store in refrigerator.
