1 medium onion chopped - not Vidalia
1 lb white lump crabmeat
4 oz vegetable oil
3 oz cider vinegar
4 oz crushed ice - 1/2 cup
1/2 t each salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
put 1/2 onion, then crab, then rest of onion in your serving bowl. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour oil, vinegar, crushed ice in jar with a lid. Shake till white and foamy and pour over crab. Marinate 2 - 12 hours.

serve with saltines
