Fresh Okra, enough for 12 pint jars
2 Qt. water
2 Qt. vinegar
1 C. salt
4 Garlic buttons to each pint
3 pieces fresh dill to each pint
3 dried red serrano peppers to each pint

Directions:
Directions:
Bring water, vinegar and salt to a boil.
Pack okra tightly in hot, sterilized jars. Add garlic, dill and peppers.
Pour boiling mixture into jars and seal.

Mom's cousin Chris Floyd gave me this recipe many years ago at one of the Criswell reunions in Crosbyton, Tx. She lived at Jayton, Tx at the time and always grew okra in her garden.
