2 C. Sugar
1 C. Light Karo
1/2 C. Water
1 C. (2 sticks real butter)
2 C. Raw, unsalted peanuts
1 t. Salt
3 t. Baking Soda
1 t. Vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, syrup, water, salt, butter and peanuts. Bring to a full boil and boil over medium heat, stirring CONSTANTLY for about 20 minutes. You can also use a candy thermometer and bring to 305 degrees. I don't use one because I lose it in the candy.
Remove from heat and stir in soda and vanilla, pour onto buttered cookie sheet.
