10 cups warm popped popcorn
1/2 cup peanuts (or cashews )
1/2 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup dark corn syrup
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix the popcorn and the nuts in a large pan or bowl.
Keep warm in a 250º oven.
Melt the butter in a heavy saucepan. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt.
Bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly, then
Boil without stirring for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat, stir in the soda and vanilla.
Quickly pour over the popcorn and nuts, tossing well until well coated.
Pour onto foil covered,sprayed baking sheets.
Bake at 250º for 45 minutes, stirring a couple of times.
Remove from oven and let cool. Break into pieces. Store covered.
