1/2 cup softened butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (16-oz) can chocolate syrup
1 teaspoons vanilla
1/4 cup softened butter or margarine
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons Crème de Menthe
1/4 - 1/2 cup half & half
1 (6-oz) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter or margarine

Directions:
Cream 1/2 cup butter, gradually adding 1 cup sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Combine flour and salt, add to creamed mixture alternately with chocolate syrup. Stir in vanilla. Pour into greased and floured 13x9" pan. Bake at 350º for 25-28 minutes.

Cream 1/4 cup butter, adding 2 cups powdered sugar, half & half, and Crème de Menthe. Spread evenly over cooled brownies.

Melt chocolate and 1/4 cup butter. Spread atop brownies. Chill 1 hour.
