3 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup Karo white syrup
1 cup water
1 dram pure oil flavorings
food coloring
butter
powdered sugar
marble slab

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, syrup, and water in saucepan; cook until temperature reaches 300º on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat and immediately add flavoring and food coloring. Stir slightly. Pour onto buttered marble slab. Cut into desired shaped with buttered scissors. (Careful: THIS IS HOT!) Sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar when cooled to keep candy from sticking to itself.
