Cheese sauce:
4 T butter or margarine

Parsley flakes
Garlic powder
2 C milk
1 C cubed cheese (Longhorn)

Topping:
3-4 T margarine or butter
Saltines

Directions:
Directions:
Cook 4 tablespoons margarien and flour over medium-low heat stirring constantly until well mixed and thickened. Add to taste: salt-just a little, pepper-more than a little but not a lot, parsley flakes-about a tablespoon, garlic powder-just a little. Slowly add milk to margarine-flour mixture stirring vigorously so lumps don't form. Add cheese and stir until melted.

Mix cheese sauce and macaroni, put all into a baking dish, top with 5 or 6 dabs of butter or margarine and crushed saltines--this is why you don't need to add much salt.

Bake at 350º F until it bubbles--@ 1/2 hour
