3/4 cup shortening
1 egg
1 cup milk
4 cups flour
2 t. baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1 tsp. ginger
1 cup molasses
Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar, egg, milk, molasses. Put all others together. Mix them together.

Bake at 350º for 13 minutes.
