24 slices of cinnamon raisin bread
1 T vanilla
1/4 teas. nutmeg
8 eggs
3 cups 2 % milk
1 cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup sugar, divided
2 - 8 oz. cream cheese
Cinnamon-sugar and powdered sugar
Cooking spray

Directions:
Trim crusts from bread. Coat a 9 x 13 baking dish with cooking spray.
Layer 1/2 of the raisin bread in bottom of baking dish..
In a large bowl, combine milk, 6 eggs, whipping cream and 1/2 cup of the sugar. Stir with a whisk. Pour half of the milk mixture over bread in dish
to moisten.

Combine 2 eggs with remaining 1/2 c. sugar, cream cheese, vanilla and nutmeg and blend until smooth. Pour cream cheese mixture over moist bread in dish. Top with remaining bread and pour remaining 1/2 of milk mixture over bread. Cover and refrig. 8 hours or overnight.

In the morning, preheat oven to 350. Uncover and bake approx. 1 hour.
Let stand 10 minutes. Sprinkle liberally with cinnamon-sugar and powdered sugar, if desired. Let dish cool 20 minutes before cutting.
