3 cloves garlic, finely minced
1/2 cup olive oil
4 filets of anchovies
1/2 cup capers
16 Italian olives
8 fresh basil leaves
1 T chopped fresh parsley
1/4 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 cup water
Pasta:
1 lb linguine
2 quarts water
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
To prepare the sauce, brown the garlic in a skillet with olive oil. Add the anchovies, capers and olives, Saute for 3 minutes. Add the basil, parsley, oregano, pepper, water and wine. Simmer for 5 minutes over a low flame.
Cook pasta to al dente -about 6 minutes. Drain and add to the sauce. Toss and place on a platter and and sprinkle with more hot pepper to taste.
