Caramel Cream Sandwich:
1 c. butter
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk, unbeaten
2 1/4 c. flour

Browned Butter Frosting:
2 Tbsp. butter
1 1/4 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
4 - 5 tsp. cream

Caramel Cream Sandwich:
Preheat oven to 325º
Cream together butter and add brown sugar
Cream
Blend in egg yolk and add flour
Stir until dough forms
Chill for easy handling
Shape dough into size of marble
Place on ungreased baking sheet and flatten 10 1/8 inch thickness
Press fork in 1 direction
Bake until begins to brown (8 - 9 minutes)
Remove while warm

Browned Butter Frosting:
Brown butter in saucepan
Remove from heat and blend confectioners' sugar
Gradually add vanilla and cream until spreading consistency
