6 bacon slices, cut into small pieces
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
2 (16 oz.) pkgs. frozen baby sweet peas
1/2 cup water
1 Tbls. Tony Chachere' seasoning
1 cup chopped pecans, toasted

Directions:
Directions:
Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium until crisp. Remove bacon.
Drain on paper towels, reserving 1 Tbls. drippings in skillet.
Stir in onion and celery. Reduce heat to medium low; cook 15 min. or until lightly browned.
Add peas, 1/2 cup water and Tony seasoning; cook 10 minutes; stirring occasionally, or until peas are tender. Stir in bacon and pecans.
Serve.

To toast pecans, bake in shallow pan at 350 degrees, stirring occasionally, 8 to 10 minutes. Watch carefully.
