Crust and Streusel:
2 c. Quaker Oats (quick or old fashioned, uncooked)
2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. (2 sticks) margarine or butter, melted

Filling:
3 c. apples, sliced and peeled thinly (about 3 medium apples)
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 (12 oz.) jar or (1 c.) raspberry or apricot preserves

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
Crust and Streusel:
Combine oats, flour, sugar and baking powder
Mix well
Add margarine, mixing until moistened
Reserve 2 c.
Set aside
Press remaining oat mixture into bottom of 13 x 9 inch pan
Bake 15 minutes

Filling:
Combine apples and flour
Stir in preserves
Spread onto crust within 1/2 inch of edge
Sprinkle with reserved oat mixture, pressing lightly
Bake for 30 - 35 minutes or until light golden brown
Let cool completely; cut into bars
