1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon oil
˝ cup dry orzo or vermicelli broken into one inch pieces
1 cup long grain or basmati rice
2 cups warm water or chicken broth (broth is optional)
1 chicken flavor bouillon cube (optional—if not using broth)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and oil in medium frying pan over medium high heat. Cook pasta until golden brown. Add rice and stir until just coated with butter and mixed with pasta. Add water and optional bouillon cube (crush and stir cube in). Reduce heat to low and cover tightly for 20 minutes. Uncover and fluff before serving.
