2 and 1/2 cups self rising flour
2 cups sugar
2 Tablespoons hot water
1 cup drained crushed pineapple (save the juice)
1 and 1/4 cup Wesson Oil
4 eggs separated
1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts)
1 and 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

Beat egg yolks with oil and hot water, then add other ingredients.

Beat egg whites till they are stiff, then fold in mixture with nuts.

Bake in greased tube pan for 1 hour at 325 degrees.

Remove from oven and leave in pan for 30 minutes.

Remove cake from pan.

Combine pineapple juice and 1 cup sugar and cook over heat until syrup forms.
Pour over cake.
