1/3 C olive oil
3 tbsp chopped garlic
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
3/4 C white wine
1/4 C water
1 can minced clams
1 doz. fresh clams
Chopped parsley
1 lb linguine

Directions:
Directions:
Cook linguine in a pot of salted boiling water according to directions.

Meanwhile heat olive oil. Add garlic. Cook for 3 minutes. Don't let the garlic burn. Add red pepper flakes. Cook for 30 seconds.

Add wine and water to the pot. Increase heat to high. Add minced clams and fresh clams. Cover pot and cook for 6 minutes.

Drain linguine, but save about 1/2 C of cooking water.

Pour sauce over pasta. If it is too dry, add a bit more olive oil or some of the water linguine was cooked in.
