4 T. butter
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. dill weed
1/4 tsp. salt
1# green beans cut into 2" lengths
1/2 C. chopped onion
1/8 tsp. hot pepper flakes
1/2 C. fresh prsley, chopped
1 (12-oz.) bottle your favorite beer

Directions:

Melt butter over low heat in heavy skillet and saute onion until golden. Add the herbs, spices and beer and bring to a boil and then boil briskly about 3 minutes.
Add the beans and cook, uncovered, over medium heat for about 20 minutes or until the liquid is almost evaporated.
Sprinkle with the parsley and serve at once.
