Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 lb Ground round
2 cans of stewed tomatoes
1 tsp. butter
1 lb elbow macaroni

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat while breaking into small pieces.

In the meantime, mash up stewed tomatoes, add butter and heat. When meat is browned, add it to the stewed tomatoes.

Cook elbow macaroni according to directions or to taste (see ** below) Don't forget to add salt to the water before cooking elbows. Drain macaroni and pour stewed tomatoes mixture over elbows and mix.

You can stop there or, if you want to be adventurous, you can pour it all into a baking dish, cover top with bread crumbs, dot with butter and bake at 350º

** If you are going to bake this, don't cook the elbows the full amount of time or they will get mushy. They will finish baking in the oven.

Personal Notes:
Ever wonder why we call it Grandma's Supper? Well, I'll tell you ... When we were kids, our grandmother used to come to visit every week. She had to take 2 buses to get to our house! She would spend the day, eat dinner with us and then we'd drive her home at night. It seemed like almost every time she came, we had this dinner. It was an easy fast meal to make and there wasn't a lot to clean up afterwards. So now you know the secret of Grandma's Supper! ;)
