3/4 stick butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup chopped nuts(I use pecans)

Directions:
©Step One: Mix and bake crust ingredients at 350º for 20 minutes in 9x13 pan. stir while baking. After it's fully browned and cooked, spread out evenly, reserving a bit for the top of the dessert.
Step Two: Beat and refrigerate the whipping cream-add 1to 2 T sugar during whipping.
Step Three: Beat at high speed for 5 minutes the sugar, strawberries and egg whites.
Step Four: Fold whipping cream into strawberry mixture and place in pan where crust mixture was
made.
Place in freezer and serve after frozen-it looks great on a plate with a dollop of whipped cream(you'll need additional amount for that, as well as a whole strawberry on top, sprinkle some reserved crust, if desired.)

Personal Notes:
This comes from the Phillips home, somewhere back in the 60's or 70's. I made this for every luncheon, baby shower, and summer party for years. I just had a discussion with my sister Sandy about this recipe and she does not remember it, so, here it is!
