1 c butter
1 c regular oats uncooked
1 c crushed corn flakes
1 c packed brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 c sugar
1 egg
1/2 c flaked coconut
1 c vegetable oil
1/2 c chopped pecans
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Cream butter, gradually add sugars, beating in well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add egg and beat in well. Add oil and vanilla, mixing well. Combine flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Add oats, cornflakes, coconut and pecans and mix well. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten each ball with tines of fork. Bake at 350º for 15 minutes. Remove from cookie sheet and cool completely on wire racks.
