Ingredients:
1 medium fryer, cut into serving pieces
Salt and pepper to taste
4 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup flour
Juice of 1/2 lemon
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Season fryer well with salt and pepper. (I like to let it stand a while like that in the refrigerator. If you have the time, let it stay in there for an hour or so.) Preheat oven to 500°. Place your chicken in a 9x13” baking dish and dot it with butter, then sprinkle with flour. Turn the oven down to 350° and bake the chicken until it begins to brown. At that point add the lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and water. Cover tightly with foil and bake another hour and a half or so, or until you can pit it with a fork and watch that delicious meat just fall off the bone. (Remember to base it occasionally by taking the juices from the bottom and dripping ‘em over the top.) Serve this chicken to your hungry bunch and watch it disappear right before your eyes.
