2 T. butter
2 T. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 C. milk
1/4 t. ground cinnamon
1/4 t. nutmeg
1 t. salt
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 c. canned pumpkin
1/2 c. beef consommé
2 egg yolks, beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a large saucepan.
Blend in flour.
Add milk, a little at a time.
Stir until mixture is a smooth sauce.
Combine seasonings, brown sugar and pumpkin, mixing well.
Add combined seasonings to sauce and also add the consommé.
Simmer for a few minutes.
Pour a little hot liquid into beaten eggs. Mix well and return to saucepan.
Simmer for 2 minutes.
