5 lbs. fish
3 lemons
2 T. vinegar
Salt and pepper to taste
3 medium onions finely chopped
4 large green peppers finely chopped
1 c. scallion finely chopped
Curry to taste
Oregano to taste
Garlic to taste
Oil to fry
1/4 t. powdered clove

Directions:
Directions:
Soak fish in water with bicarbonate of soda for about 1 hour. Then clean fish and cut in serving pieces. Slash side for stuffing. Marinate with lime juice and salt for about 2 hours. Rinse fish. Season with vinegar and dry ingredients. In a small bowl mix well onion, green pepper, parsley, scallion with curry, oregano, salt and pepper.
Fill slashes with mixture. Mix flour with curry, black pepper and powdered clove. Roll fish in flour mixture. Fry in deep hot oil browning on both sides. Then serve
