For Crust:
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
2/3 cup blanched almonds, toasted lightly and cooled completely, ground fine in food processor
1/2 stick melted and cooled butter
1/4 cup sugar

For Filling:
3 large eggs, separated, whites at room temp
14oz can Sweetened Condensed Milk
1/2 cup Key Lime juice - bottled, or, fresh lime juice - about 3 limes

1/3 cup sugar - save for meringue

Make crust with cracker crumbs, almonds, butter and 1/4 cup sugar. Use 10 inch pie plate. Bake 10 min @ 350º.

In a large bowl beat yolks with condensed milk, stir in lime juice a little at a time, stir to combine well. Spoon into pie shell and chill for 1 hour.

In bowl beat egg whites with pinch of salt until they hold soft peaks. Add sugar, beating 1 Tablsp at a time. Beat until hold stiff peaks. Spread over pie. Bake 15 min @ 350. Chill 2 hours.
