2 cups rice krispies, crushed
1 cup grated coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1 stick melted butter
1 cup light brown sugar
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened

Topping:
1 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2 tbsp karo syrup
4 tbsp butter
1 tbsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix rice krispies, coconut, pecans and butter. Brown in the oven on 350º. Mix in brown sugar. Line a 9 x 13 pan with waxed paper. Put 1/2 of mixture in pan. Add ice cream and spread evenly. Add remaining mixture on top and freeze.
Topping:
Mix all ingredients except vanilla in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil a minute. Add vanilla.
Store sauce in refrigerator. Heat in microwave just before serving. Spoon over a square of "fried" ice cream.
