Butter or margarine
4 tart apples; peeled, quartered, cored and thinly sliced lengthwise.
10 T. sugar
1/4 t. cinnamon
1/8 t. ground nutmeg
1/2 C. stirred flour
2 eggs
1/2 C. milk
1/4 t. salt

Directions:
Melt 6 T. butter in large skillet over medium heat. Saute' apples 5 minutes.
Mix 6 T. sugar with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Sprinkle over apples. Cover and cook 10 minutes over low heat, turning once or twice.
Beat eggs, then beat in milk and salt.
Add flour and beat just until batter is smooth.

In separate 10-11" frying pan, melt 1 T. butter to coat bottom of pan.
Pour in batter.
Bake in preheated 450 degree oven 15 minutes. (When batter puffs in center, prick with fork; repeat when necessary.)

Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 10 minutes more.
Spoon 2 T. melted butter evenly over pancake and sprinkle with 2 T. sugar.

Spoon apple mixture over half the pancake, then fold other half over top.
Sprinkle with remaining 2 t. sugar.

Cut in 6 wedges with kitchen shears.
Serve immediately10x sugar instead of granulated.
