1 1/4 cups brown sugar
2 1/4 cups flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1 3/4 tsp ground ginger
1 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 ground cloves
3/4 cup or 1 1/2 sticks butter[melted]
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Whip together in a small bowl brown sugar,egg and butter. Sift together dry ingredients,and add to brown sugar mixture and mix throughly.
Preheat oven at 350º. roll dough into ball marble sizeand place an inch apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake in the middleof the ovenuntil firm and lightly browned about 14 minutes.
Let cool,and they are ready to eat ,but if your kids are anything like mine they dig in while the cookies are stil hot!!!!!
