Apples the sweeter of the better, 4 cups of flour, 4 cups of sugar, cinnamon, salt, 4 table spoons baking powder, 1 pound of butter or margarine, six eggs extra-large or eight eggs large.

º Use a 9 x 14 pan. Peel and slice apples and line the bottom of the pan with apples. Use a generous amount. Sprinkle cinnamon generously over, Apple, set aside. Mix flour sugar baking powder 2 teaspoons of salt together. Add eggs to the dry mixture, mix by hand, you will get sticky clumps and that is good., Cover the apples with mixture, and cover it with sprinkle cinnamon. Melt butter and pour evenly over the top. Bake at 425° for about 45 min. when top is crisp it should be done. Serve warm as is or with vanilla ice cream. WOW!

I always make this in a large pan because we all love it and lasts about five days you can cut down the recipe for smaller portions equally
