1 Stewing chicken
Chicken stock from cooked chicken
2 cups chopped tomatoes
1/2 cup whole kernel corn
1 cup sliced okra
1 large green pepper, chopped
1/4 cup diced onion
1/4 cup rice
5 cups water
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook chicken in about 4 cups water until very tender. Remove the chicken, debone and chop and set aside.
Place the chicken stock in a soup pot and add the rest of the ingredients.
Simmer until vegetables are tender (about 30 minutes). Return chopped meat to soup.
