Dry Ingredients
2 cup flour plain
2 cups sugar
½ tsp. salt

2 sticks butter
1 cup water
3 tbsp. cocoa
Heat to boiling point and add immediately to above dry ingredients.

2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. baking soda
½ cup buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Add to above and mix well

Icing
Start last 5 minutes of cake baking time
1 stick butter
3 tbs. cocoa
6 tbs. milk
Mix and heat but don’t boil

Add 1 box powdered sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla
Mix and pour on hot cake

Bake in large cookie sheet pan 20-25 min at 350
