2 pounds ground Turkey
3 cups chopped yellow/brown onion
4 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
2 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon cumin powder
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon black pepper fine ground
1 teaspoon turmeric
2 cans (14 oz each) beans (Which ever beans you prefer)
2 cans (12 oz each) Tomato Sauce
Salt to taste
3 large tomato’s diced fine
6 large Serrano chilies cut finely (hot)
2 tablespoons Olive oil

1. Mix cumin, pepper, Chili powder, salt, cinnamon, and turmeric in to the ground turkey and mix well and let sit.
2. Heat large saucepan over medium-high heat with half if the olive oil, onion and garlic, diced tomatoes, and Serrano chilies. Cook and stir 10 minutes or until soft. Add this to the turkey and mix.
3. Put the large saucepan back over medium-high heat and add the turkey mixture and cook to brown slightly.
4. Add tomato sauce and the drained beans and bring to a boil. Simmer over medium to low heat for about an hour.

Cook's Tips:
• Hot chilies require the correct amount of salt to bring out the flavor of the “hot” chili peppers. (if you have been asked cut down on your salt intake – it is best to keep away).
