One and one-half tbsp. corn flour
4 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
1/4 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. dried minced onion
1/2 tsp. beef bouillon granules
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)

Mix spices and add to 1 to 1 1/2 pounds of browned ground beef or turkey with 1 to 1 1/2 cups water. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Taco meat is a staple at the Elsaifi/Mitchusson household. I found this recipe and it is a great for basic taco meat. I use the taco meat for crispy tacos, soft tacos, nachos, beef enchiladas, frito pie, and just about any recipe that calls for taco beef. I add onion and fresh jalapeņo to the meat while browning for extra spice.
